Icarus

Icarus came to us when he was about 9 months old.  Nothing is know about his former home.  It’s believed he was abandoned and lived on his own for a short period before a neighbor took him in. He came to us with part of his fur died bright pink.

Since his arrival Icarus has been treated for ear mites; brought current on vaccines and rabies; screened and vaccinated for feline leukemia; and socialized with cats and children. Icarus thinks dogs are scary and he is slowly being introduced.

Icarus has a scrappy but sweet personality.  He likes to wrestle, run and play with just about any toy.  His personality is deceptively dominant be he is passive at heart.  While he does like to “hunt” his friends he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.  Icarus loves change and thinks deep clean day when the furniture gets moved is the best day ever.  Cute, playful, with a dash of crazy.

Icarus would thrive in a home where he can run and play.  He does well with other cats and would enjoy having someone to play with.  His ideal playmate would be someone who also wants to wrestle and play with him too. Icarus’s perfect home would be somewhere he never has to fear being abandoned again.
