Crazy Cat

Volunteer
Volunteering is a great alternative to making a monetary donation. Daily care can be difficult to complete when you have a bunch of fuzz buddies wanting attention. Having an extra pair of hands just one day a week can make all the difference.

Volunteering with us is simple and fun! Volunteer opportunities are posted on POINT, simply sign up for what time works best for your schedule and you will gain:
-
Experience with animal care.
-
Quality time with the animals.
-
Community service hours.
-
A better knowledge of animal behavior.
Who can Volunteer?
We welcome anyone and everyone no matter their ability or knowledge!
Children under the age of 16 are required to be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.
When can I Volunteer?
Volunteers are helpful whether they are able to help regularly or occasionally. Volunteer opportunities are posted on POINT and you can sign up for any that fit your availability
What do Volunteers do?
There are a lot of duties that come with caring for our animals, generally volunteers will be helping with daily care and socialization such as filling feeders & waters, scooping litter boxes, brushing, actively playing, and snuggling. Occasionally we also need assistance in taking an animal to their vet appointment, clipping nails, monitoring social interactions, or picking up supplies.
What is an Unsupervised Volunteer?
Volunteers who are interested in assisting regularly are given the option to train as an Unsupervised Volunteer. An Unsupervised Volunteer may or may not be supervised by our team during their volunteer time. This could include driving an animal to a vet visit or caring for the animals when another team member isn't available.
