Animal Caretaker
We are searching for a team member to operate the Cat Lounge and complete the day to day care of our animals. This team member would be the ultimate animal lover who is compassionate, caring and will ensure the animals are well cared for, exercised and ultimately happy during their stay with us. Job requires some knowledge or interest in learning animal behavior. Tasks don’t require any special skills, just the ability to complete them on a daily basis. Some general customer service and cash register knowledge is preferred.
The ideal person would be someone who not only loves animals but is also able to perform the menial task of caretaking with minimal supervision. Day to day care includes lots of play, snuggling and general animal interactions. Must be able to find a happy medium between completing duties and loving on the animals. Lounge operations include covering visitor orientation, supervising visitor-cat interactions, answering questions and processing any purchases.
This is a part time contract position and does not include any benefits. Schedule is somewhat flexible averaging a 4 hour shift 5 days per week. Prefer someone who can commit to working Sundays. Additional hours available for the right person. Position requires reliability and great communication with the operator.

Hours: 20-30 hours per week
Pay: $10-$15 per hour DOE
