Cat Lounge Conditions
01
Visit Terms
Visits begin promptly on the hour whether the scheduled visitors have arrived or not. Visitors who arrive late will be allowed entry, however they will not be extended more time. Visitors are strongly encouraged to arrive early so they will be able to enjoy their full time. At the end of each visit time a 10 min warning will be given. We ask that each visitor prepare to make their way back downstairs to prevent crossing into the next groups time.
03
Conduct
We strongly remind every visitor they are entering the home of the animals in residence. Visitors are expected to show respect for the animals, furniture and toys while in the Cat Lounge. Please do not grab, pull or manhandle any of the animals.
05
Children
Children of all ages are welcome in the Cat Lounge. Children are expected to be respectful and follow direction the same as any other visitor-no exceptions. Children are reminded to use gentle feet and quiet voices, limiting loud noises, jumping and general chaos. Accompanying adults are required to supervise the children at all times. Should the accompanying adult be unable to maintain the children, the group will be asked to leave.
02
Snacks
Crazy Cat Cafe continues to await for their food permit to be processed. During this time we are offering complementary self-serve coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cold beverages as well as various snacks and sweets. Visitors are invited to help themselves before, during or after their visit. Donations are welcome to support the snack bar.
04
Handling
Visitors will not be permitted to pick up, manhandle, pull or force the animals to do anything while in the Cat Lounge. While the majority of our animals are easily handled there are a few who are delicate or unused to being handled and aggressively handeling puts visitors at risk of being scratched or bitten.
06
Right of Refusal
We reserve the right to refuse access to anyone. Should anyone be unable to follow the rules verbally given or posted or the direction of any employee or volunteer they and their group will be asked to leave.
